Decolonizing my Afro Hair

This is a brief write up of how colonization and slavery made us (black people) to view our natural afro hair as dirty, wild and ugly. The write up make a reflection of how I can relate todays practice and stereotypes of afro hair with the moments of slavery and slave trade. Furthermore, this text also has as objective to encourage black people especially women to expose their natural afro hair with all its beauty and Splendor
